This Italian restaurant group
started in Beijing in ‘98 with a tiny place of 50sqm. Due to
the great acceptance by the community and the fast success
of the true original Italian delicatessen, Peter Pan soon
expanded with the opening of 3 restaurants as well as
Agrilandia Italian Farm in Beijing. Agrilandia supplies all
Peter Pan Restaurants and has been producing handcrafted
organic red wines, fruit wines, vegetables, herbs and
cheeses in Beijing’s remote suburbs, all in an attempt to
bring the philosophy of Italian ecological agriculture to
the Chinese capital community.
Chef Claudio Bonfatti brought to China his
life long experience of traditional ‘slow food’ culture and ‘family style
dining’, that one could only experience when living or traveling in Italy.
Claudio says, “The ‘Italian cuisine’ is based on simple dishes and fresh
regional products. Our aim is to highlight the flavor of the main
ingredient, with a few condiments. Sometimes just some drops of extra virgin
olive oil can bring to you the Mediterranean fragrance.”
At Peter Pan, we cook in harmony with the best quality food provided
from natures own table.
